Welcome to Shuttle Bus (denoted herewith as "Shuttle Bus") and its associated businesses to include but not limited; Beep Beep Toot, Cairns Airport Shuttle Bus, Darwin Airport Shuttle Bus & Port Douglas Shuttle Bus (Hero Travel PTY Supplier Agreement, OTA T&C's apply).
The Service
Shuttle Bus is a passenger transportation platform provided through the Shuttle Bus services with general business hours between 6am to 6pm Monday to Sunday (Reservations Call Centre Monday to Sunday 9am-6pm AEST & Online Chat Monday to Sunday 9am-6pm AEST subject to availability | Reservations Call Centre & Online Chat Is Closed Public Holidays | Please Note: Reservations Team At Times Are Required To Drive & For Driver Safety Calls Will Be Diverted To After Hours Voicemail | All After Hours Enquiries Will Be Answered Periodically), provides passenger transportation services including services generated thru the “Shuttle Bus” website, Respax APP and or other services utalised to connect Shuttle Bus customers.
Using Shuttle Bus, General Information.
You may only use Shuttle Bus to arrange a passenger transfers. You may not use Shuttle Bus to provide or procure any other services (such as package deliveries) nor to engage in commercial services with out the intent of use the Shuttle Bus platform service provides.
Please note Shuttle Bus, reserves the right to move you / your booking to an earlier or later departure time being subject to operational requirements and is subject to our cancellation terms and conditions. Shuttle Bus and or Shuttle Bus drivers can not guarantee on time passenger pick up or drop off at destination of which may be disrupted by environmental, weather and other conditions affecting scheduled and or envisaged normal service(s). All scheduled services are an approximate time and although we try to run services to schedule, at times and due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control your pick up time may be slightly behind schedule, however in the event our service(s) is slightly delayed we endeavour to communicate this to our customer(s) and apologise in advance for inconvenience.
Misuse of Shuttle Bus services.
You may use Shuttle Bus only as permitted by law, including applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations. Don’t misuse Shuttle Bus. For example:
1 Don’t interfere with Shuttle Bus or try to access it using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide; and
2 Respect the privacy of your fellow users. In particular, do not misuse personal information about Customers or Drivers that you may access through your use of the Service.
3 Don’t create or use multiple accounts to abuse Shuttle Bus policies, circumvent filters, or otherwise subvert restrictions placed on your account. For example, if you’ve been blocked by another user or have had your account disabled due to abuse, don’t create a replacement account.
4 You agree not to use Shuttle Bus for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or otherwise in violation of applicable law and regulation. We may suspend or stop providing services to you if you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.
5 The safety of our passengers and drivers is the highest priority of Shuttle Bus, therefore per our terms and conditions, all travellers must comply with current directive(s) from Qld health and NT Health, which may include but not limited to wearing of face masks at all times whilst in and around vehicle (unless stated by regulation(s), the requirement to wear a face mask), the use of sanitiser upon entering and exiting vehicle and stowage of own luggage into vehicle and or trailer (if directed). If you are required to have a COVID test, directed to home quarantine and or you are enquiring about a COVID transfer, you must advise our reservations team at point of booking request of your intent and you are obligated to be transferred in a medical specific transfer vehicle. Persons utlaising our services whom are seeking medical attention for COVID-19 or display symptoms are required to notify us and or our reservations team and utalise a government approved COVID transfer service* to ensure risks are minimised. Shuttle Bus reserves the right not to take any persons to a medical business or hospital unless they are a front line worker with a valid identification / permit. Shuttle Bus and its associated businesses reserves the right to refuse service and terminate a booking if you have not complied with our terms and conditions of use.
6 If Shuttle Bus, its associated businesses, associates and or the Driver believes that a passenger has not taken appropriate precautions, are confirmed COVID patients, is intoxicated, agressive, utalises offensive behavior / words and or the Driver cannot provide a safe service, then Shuttle Bus, its associates and the Driver reserve the right to and will refuse or terminate the trip and reserve the right to take further action to remedy negligence caused on the passenger(s) and or your behalf .
7 By Accepting our service(s) you agree that you are complying with Queensland and Northern Territory Government(s) and or Queensland Department Of Health and Northern Territory Department Of Health Directive(s), which may include but not limited to; have downloaded, installed and are utalising the Australian Government COVID Safe App, read and agree to our terms and conditions and acknowledge for the safety and security of both our drivers and passengers our vehicle(s) are fitted with in-car front dash cams and that drivers may be accompanied by another team member for all transfers.
Intellectual Property
Using ride me does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in Shuttle Bus or the content you access. You may not use content from ride me unless you obtain permission from its owner or are otherwise permitted by law. These terms do not grant you the right to use any branding or logos used in Shuttle Bus. Don’t remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with Shuttle Bus.
Communications
In connection with your use of Shuttle Bus, we may send you notifications, service announcements, administrative messages, promotions and other information, via email, SMS, and other channels. You may opt out of any or all of those communications (other than important communications relating to your account or confirmations) at any time.
VEHICLES
Shuttle Bus operates services with a fleet of Hyundai Imax Mini-Van(s) and Toyota Hiace Bus(s) of which vehicle supplied is subject to availability and operational requirements.
ROAD ACCESS FEE
In the event that we (our normal coast road service between Cairns and Port Douglas) are required to utalise the inland road and or are restricted to use the coastal road with delays, then there will be an additional fee associated to the travel time or customers will be offered the option to cancel with out penalty (only applies to road access fee component and normal cancellation terms applies thereof):

Shuttle Adult $17.50 / Child $9.05
Private $174 (1-2 persons) / $27.50 per person thereafter
to / from Cairns City / Esplanade
Per Shuttle booking $20
TIMETABLE SCHEDULE : Is An Approximate Arrival & Departure Time
Please note we do not accept any liability for missed flights. Please ensure you allow ample time for your journey. Transfers between Cairns Airport, Cairns City, Skyrail & Palm Cove are only available with scheduled in-bound and out-bound Port Douglas services.
STOPS, Can We Request To Stop Off Along The Way, Pick Up Keys, Groceries or you need two or more drop off / pick up locations etc?
Unfortunately no, if you have booked a shuttle bus or budget private transfer, we no longer allow for any unscheduled stops (for example: to collect accommodation keys, run in for groceries, supplies & or have multiple drop offs). All transfers will be a direct pick up & drop off to your destination, so not to inconvenience other passengers, our driver and the entire days schedule.
Private "Door To Door" Transfers may pre-request additional stops and will incur a fee of $11 per destination / per 5 minutes or / $99 per hour
OUTSIDE STANDARD HOURS
Shuttle Bus standard Shuttle Bus hours (excluding local shuttle) are 6am to 810pm therefore, If you have booked:
1) A scheduled services on the 3am or 11pm, using the in-land road or single lane Captain Cook highway will incur the following fee(s) of $110 per Adult / or a scheduled services on the 3am or 11pm, using the duel lane (no road obstructions) Captain Cook highway will incur the following fee(s) of $55 per Adult;
2) A service where as your, but not limited to; in-bound flight, train, bus, coach, boat, another transfer, or you are not able to meet your scheduled service and or are delayed (beyond and or is significantly* delayed) causing your transfer departure time to be after 810pm then the $55 After Hours Driver Fee per Adult, will be an additional charge and or travel insurance clause precedes.
Private Transfer standard hours are 6am to 8pm and transfers for pick up outside these hours and or scheduled will incur the following fee(s) 8pm-6am $110 per hour / per vehicle surcharge (calculated on an approximate travel time) / Viator Urgent after hours transfers extra $110
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
A additional 33% tariff / surcharge will be applied to public holidays and is not eligable for any discount or promotion.
SURCHARGE SPECIFIC
One large suitcase and or backpack and one carry on per person is allowed for all transfers. A $11 tariff per extra luggage unit is applicable at the drivers discretion if you want to transport more than one large suitcase per person (item is around 74 cm or 27 inches in height and has a capacity of up to 117 litres) and you must pre-reserve additional luggage room.
Golf Bag $11 per bag (Golf Bag luggage must be pre-reserved / Shuttle Bus accepts no liability for the transport of equipment).
Bike Transfer $27.50 per bicycle (bike luggage and must be pre-reserved, assembled and complete in condition / Beep beep Toot accepts no liability for the transport of equipment).
PET Transfer All bookings must be pre-requested. $49.50 per small dog or cat (small dog breed like malteese and or similar) or $55 for a larger dog, must travel with owner and or guardian in a pet caged carrier and are not allowed to travel on laps. A cleaning fee and or pest treatment fee of $110 will be charged if you, your accompanied booked passenger(s), child, infant and or pet, has been but not limited to being sick, vomited, split liquid and or food products, drawn on vehicle and or property, damaged etc, causing cleaning and or deep cleaning inclusive of flea treatment is required.
Travel & Tours
Prices are subject to operator change(s) and may differ to the advertised price as displayed on this website.
Booking Establishment, Fuel Surcharge and Credit Card Processing Fee
All service prices are payable in Australian currency and inclusive of GST, all bookings and or services where payment is made with credit or debit cards will incur a processing payment fee.
Online, Telephone, Chat and Email bookings include a 10% transaction fee (3.9% credit card fee / 6.1% Fuel Surcharge). See cancellation terms and refund policy. in the event you are unable to provide the details require your booking will not be processed and will b be cancelled. (Approved travel and hotel agents are not subject to the pre-payment terms) Any payments (including payment requests and transfers) must be made exclusively through the Shuttle Bus platform(s).
Payment Processing Methods
Shuttle Bus may make available to you various payment processing methods to facilitate Shuttle Bus related payments. You must abide by any relevant terms and conditions or other legal agreement, whether with Shuttle Bus , or a third party, that governs your use of a given payment processing method. Shuttle Bus may add or remove payment processing methods at its sole discretion and without notice to you. If you are a passenger, Shuttle Bus or Shuttle Bus payment processor will charge your credit card or other form of payment that you indicate for the Payment for the transfer, along with any additional applicable amounts (including any taxes, if applicable). You are solely responsible for all taxes, rights, contributions and other amounts payable associated with transfer you obtain through Shuttle Bus.
Any booking request and or confirmation where a payment link has been generated and issued to the requestor, must be paid in-full prior to travel and or by 8pm AEST on the day of issue (which ever comes first) by quoting your booking reference number, failure to pay by the due time will result in the seat / transfer being cancelled
Tax Invoice(s), Remittance and Receipts
Subject to how you booked, a receipt will be issued to you upon payment transaction via sms and or email (when booking direct) and or by other methods if you have booked thru the third party site like, but not limited to Viator, Hero and or another third part site. In the event you require a more detailed invoice and or remittance, a 20% administrative fee of the total payment amount will be payable.
Unclaimed Property
If Shuttle Bus is holding property left in our vehicle(s) of which you are entitled to in accordance with these terms and Shuttle Bus is unable to contact you and has no record of your use of the service for several years, Applicable Law may require Shuttle Bus to report these funds as unclaimed property. If this occurs, Shuttle Bus will try to locate you at the email address shown in our records, but if ride me is unable to locate you, it may be required to deliver any such funds to the applicable state or entity as unclaimed property. ride me reserves the right to deduct a dormancy fee or other administrative charges from such unclaimed funds, as permitted by Applicable Law.
Compliance with Tax Laws
You must comply with any and all applicable tax laws, including the reporting and payment of any taxes arising in connection with your use of Shuttle Bus or payments made through Shuttle Bus. The reporting and payment of any such applicable taxes are your responsibility.

Not Applicable
Complementary Items
With Exception to Cairns Airport Private Transfers with inclusion of complementary items to include water & seasonal fruit (subject to driver discretion), Shuttle Bus do not offer such items or services.
Fare Classification(s), Special Assistance, Children & Adolecence, Infants, Pets and Cleaning fee's
Fare Type; Adult (12+ Years) / Child (aged 0 - 11 years inclusive). Persons under the age of 17 years must be accompanied by an responsible adult and or guardian. All children from 0 years (newborns) up to and or under the age of 7 years must be seated in a child seat and or restraint unless the child is to tall to fit into such. Child Seat Hire will be available for hire from $10 per Child Seat / one way travel subject to our "price list".
Where possible Shuttle Bus and its associated businesses and partners, will where possible assist persons with but not limited to persons with special requests, hearing and seeing compromised and or other requirements. Shuttle Bus vehicles do not permit and or allow pets to be transported in our vehicles with the exception to persons whom hold a visual impairment card and or pets transported in pet carriers and or being subject to our approval without.
Persons whom have intentionally and or indirectly caused damage(s) to the vehicle requiring cleaning and or sanitisation will be charged a cleaning fee of $110 and or if the damage additional cleaning or fixing to remediate the cause the passenger(s) will be charged additional costs.
Travel Agent(s) Commission
To have access to the "Agent" platform you must be utalising an affiliate system approved by Shuttle Bus to include but not limited to Viator and Hero platforms.
Hotel Agents & Travel Desk Commission
Hotel Agents and Travel Desks receive 30% commission when booking direct using our approved "On-Credit" operator form (After Hours Fee(s) & 33% Public Holiday fee is additional & non-commissionable) and excludes any other discount or promotion.
Quotations
Any and all any quotes issued are only valid in form of email as issued by Shuttle Bus associated business(s) and or accounting systems (verbal correspondence is not valid) for 7 Days from submittance.
Drop Off Changes
If you have a different return location than your original departure location, then additional fees will be incurred (for example, departure Cairns Airport to Port Douglas / Return Port Douglas to Cairns CBD Hotels/ Esplanade Precinct incurs an additional charge of $11 per person)
Cancellation, Amendment to Bookings & Travel insurance
Requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
Customers & Agents
- Within 7 days of travel or pick up time and date will result in a Void and Non-Refundable booking and full payment required
- Beyond 7 days of travel Amendment(s) Allowed & or one (1) date and or time change (price changes are applicable / excludes credit card fee(s) and or tour bookings).
- Beyond 7 days before travel cancellations receive refund less 15% to cover booking establishment fees.
- or per third party product terms and conditions.
Refunds
Where a refund is approved, most refunds are processed within approximately 30 business days to reflect in your account / and or per third party product terms and conditions.
Cancellation, Amendment to Bookings & Travel insurance Approved Agents
Unless stated otherwise any cancellation and or amendment to a booking within 24 hours of the customers confirmed pick up time / date will result in being void, non-refundable and an invoice raised requiring payment in full by the Approved Agents.
Public Health cancellations
If state government announces a border closure which makes your direct travel impossible, we will offer you a choice for either: 100% refund or a credit valid for 12 months. Unless a state government announced the border restrictions which makes your direct travel impossible outside 48 hours prior to your travel date & time, allowing you adequate time to contact our team, of which the general cancellation terms apply. Any and or all refunds where a credit card processing fee was charged, the fee portion will not be refunded
Delays, Services Changes and Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend Travel Insurance which can Cover Flight Delays, Medical Emergencies, Lost Or Stolen Luggage and shuttle & transfer costs incurred by cancelled and delayed to include but not limited to; flights / trains / boats, as unfortunately if you miss your shuttle departure time, you will forfeit your booking per cancellation terms and conditions. (*Denotes Significantly delayed, meaning which causes the disruption to our timetable service(s), your pick up time has been delayed more than 45 minutes and or compromises other passengers whereby we can not delay the departure time or relocate you to another service scheduled as thereby determined to be scheduled and operational 24 hours prior to a departure date and or time) you forfeit your booking and or a driver waiting fee of $55 per booking / per 30 minutes will be applied.

Shuttle Bus and its associated businesses and affiliates, recommend you have adequate and or s travel insurance to cover loss to include but not limited to airfares, accommodation costs and wages, resulting from delays affecting your transfer to include but not limited to acts of god, accidents, landslides or any unforeseen circumstance which prevents our transportation from arriving at its destination within the expected arrival time.
Our Warranties and Disclaimers
Shuttle Bus provide(s) passenger transfers using a commercially reasonable level of skill and care and we hope that you will enjoy using it. But there are certain things that we do not promise about Shuttle Bus. Other than as expressly set out in these terms, Shuttle Bus does not make any specific promises about Shuttle Bus . For example, we don’t make any commitments about the content within Shuttle Bus, the specific functions of Shuttle Bus or its reliability, availability, or ability to meet your needs. Shuttle Bus is provided “AS IS”.
Some jurisdictions provide for certain warranties, like the implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the extent permitted under applicable law, we exclude all warranties.
Liability for Shuttle Bus
When permitted by law, Shuttle Bus and Shuttle Bus suppliers and distributors will not be responsible for lost profits, revenues or data, financial losses or indirect, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages.
You agree that Shuttle Bus will have no responsibility or liability for:
1 The actions, errors or omissions of any Shuttle Bus information contained within this website, marketing material and or any other party;
2 The truth or accuracy of any information provided by Shuttle Bus;
3 The compliance by any Shuttle Bus with these terms or applicable laws.
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of Shuttle Bus and its suppliers and distributors for any claims under these terms, including for any implied warranties, is limited to $1 AUD (or its equivalent in local currency).
In all cases, Shuttle Bus (denoted herewith as "Shuttle Bus") and its associated businesses to include but not limited; Cairns Airport Shuttle Bus, Darwin Airport Shuttle Bus & Port Douglas Shuttle Bus (Hero Travel PTY Supplier Agreement, OTA T&C's apply), will not be liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable.
We recognise that in some countries, you might have legal rights as a consumer. If you are using Shuttle Bus for a personal and or commercial purpose, then nothing in these terms or any additional terms limits any consumers’ legal rights which may not be waived by contract.
About These Terms
Shuttle Bus reserves the right to modify any terms that apply, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our services. You should look at the terms regularly. We’ll post notice of modifications to Shuttle Bus Terms on this page. We’ll post notice of modified additional terms in the applicable service. Changes will not apply retroactively and will become effective no sooner than fourteen days after they are posted. However, changes addressing new functions for a service or changes made for legal reasons will be effective immediately. If you do not agree to the modified terms for a service, you should discontinue your use of Shuttle Bus.
If there is a conflict between these Shuttle Bus Terms and any additional terms, the additional terms will control for that conflict. These terms control the relationship between Shuttle Bus, and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights. Neither these terms nor your use of ride me will be construed as creating any relationship, partnership, joint venture, employer-employee, agency, or franchisor-franchisee relationship in any way and of any kind between you and Shuttle Bus .
We are constantly changing and improving Shuttle Bus, therefore we may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop altogether.
If you do not comply with these terms, and we don’t take action right away, this doesn’t mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).
If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms. The laws and or any applicable conflict of laws rules, will apply to any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Services, all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the Services will be litigated exclusively in the federal or state courts, and you and ride me consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Notwithstanding the prior sentence, we recognize that the courts in some countries will not apply to certain disputes. If you reside in one of those countries, then where law is excluded from applying, your country’s laws will apply to such disputes (contractual or non-contractual) arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service. Similarly, if the courts in your country will not permit you to consent to the jurisdiction and venue of courts, then your local jurisdiction and venue will apply to such disputes. Either party may apply to any court for an injunction or other relief to protect its intellectual property rights. Policies and conditions on which we operate may at times be updated, amended and or introduced within the business(s) and notified elsewhere therefore may not be reflected in the terms and conditions herewith
